On the 15th November 2021 Penrith Auction Mart hosted the late autumn sale with an entry of 24 lots drawn from 8 north country herds. A packed ring side of customers bided freely for all classes with prices exceeding the expectations of the vendors. Organic cattle created strong interest with premiums prices obtained. Prices topped at £2000gns twice for fresh calved heifers. Lot 2, the organic Oxton Franklin Wildeyes 1003, a red daughter of Oxton Franklin, joined the organic herd of Messers Malkin, Stone, Staffordshire. At the same money was Winbrook Jill 185, a really smart red and white daughter of Winbrook Hoffman Vic, she was already giving 24 litres and joins the herd of regular clients J E Holliday from County Durham.
